On Saturday, Andy and I had our co-ed baby shower or it may be better described as a celebration. Andy’s sister, Ann, did a wonderful job of hosting the event. She knew we did not want to have a typical baby shower. She was able to help us create a space where we could show our gratitude to our friends and family and they could “shower” us with their love and support in whatever way they wanted whether it was through their words, participation in the activities, or by giving homemade, second-hand, or new gifts.
One of the activities was decorating flags with wishes, words, or images to welcome JoJo and give encouragement for the birth day. We will hang the flags in our birthing room then on JoJo's crib.

Everyone received candles that they can light when they hear that JoJo will arrive soon and send positive thoughts.
